There are several available lifts to the top and then have your pick from 10 beginner trails on wide, gentler slopes; 21 intermediate ski trails for a little more fun and excitement, such as the popular cruisers known as Dudley Do Right and Bullwinkle; as well as 13 most difficult trails for the more advanced and established skiers. Rocky’s Run, for example, offers some thrilling terrain and black diamond steeps for the expert skier.

If you’ve got a competitive streak, take some time to participate in or witness the weekly NASTAR ski race. Mt. Abram also boasts the longest tubing park in all of the state. At 1,325 feet long, the Flying Squirrel Snow-Tubing Park is perfect for those who just love tubing or simply want to try their hand at something other than skiing. A special tubing lift is available for those who want to have a go at tubing. If you want to take a more leisurely approach to skiing, take a buddy and traverse through the woods on the cross-country skiing loop at Mt. Abram.

Mt. Abram has two base lodges, a ski school with great instruction for all ages and levels, a day care so parents can leave their children behind for awhile in order to enjoy a private ski, a fully equipped ski rental shop, a full-service cafeteria, and the ever-popular Loose Boots lounge, with a restaurant, bar, and live entertainment.
